Who is Pacific Star?

Greetings, this is Stephen Salmon, Owner and President of Pacific Star Sports.

I was born and raised in San Diego, CA and still operate out of that area. I have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics, an extensive education in statistics/applied mathematics and an incredible passion for sports.

My staff and I have been handicapping all of the major sports for the better part of 15 years and have consistently proven that, in sports wagering, the house CAN be beaten if certain elements are maintained and the proper approach is taken. How is this done? Well, first of all, it is not easy and there are NO shortcuts.

We believe that there are three key ingredients to successful sports wagering:

1. Good, sound handicapping techniques which include, knowledge, information, experience, dedication and above all, hard work.
2. Discipline.
3. Proper money management techniques.

Our goal, is to offer you the client a profit earning stream, based on the 3 essentials to profitable sports gambling.

We use combination of heavy statistical analysis, trend theory, power ratings, situational theory, solid information, and a host of other factors, to win every year. This is a full-time job for us as we spend 8hrs a day, 7 days a week researching and studying games. We at Pacific Star Sports dedicate ourselves to this task and do whatever it takes to consistently produce winners.

When it comes to handicapping sports, we firmly believe in the theory of "value". In otherwords, a play either has value or it doesn't. Based on this, some weeks we may have 6-20 selections, some weeks we may have only one and some weeks we may not have any at all. We will never "force" a play, make a selection just because it's a marquee game or on TV, or make a selection that doesn't fit our criteria. A game either qualifies as a play or it does not. Only those that meet our difficult criteria are the selections we release to our clients. Lastly, we won't fool you with outrageous winning percentage claims or locks. These simply do not exist. At Pacific Star Sports, we pride ourselves on our honesty, integrity and customer satisfaction.

As mentioned above, we believe that good, sound money management techniques are critical to our success. Sports wagering is an investment, not a quick fix. We subscribe to the progressive wagering theory, meaning: each wager made should be a FIXED percentage of your given bankroll. Only the AMOUNT should vary as your bankroll increases and each unit represents 1%. With that philosophy in mind, we will be recommending three types of plays:

Best Bets: 3 Unit plays (maybe 2 to 3 a week)
Action Plays: 2 Unit plays (the majority of our plays)
Top Plays: 5-7 unit plays (extremely rare).
