#9 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines 3:30 ET 11/21/09

It doesn’t have much weighing on the final outcome for the visitors, but you’d be hard pressed to find a better CFB rivalry than Ohio State/Michigan.

Big 10 CFB betting gets hot and heavy from Ann Arbor, MI w6here the Rose Bowl bound Ohio State Buckeyes (9-2, 8-3 ATS) and Michigan Wolverines (5-6, 5-6 ATS) are slated to go. HC Jim Tressel’s Buckeyes got a huge test from an undermanned Iowa club last week, but managed to escape in OT and punch their tickets to Pasadena. Michigan continued its downward descent last week vs. Wisconsin, and now finds itself in a must win spot just to go bowling after winning its first four games of the season.

Bookmaker Sportsbook currently has the visiting Buckeyes installed as 12-point road favorites against the Wolverines with the game ‘total’ set at 47.5 for this afternoon’s NCAAF betting battle.

Ohio State looked very vulnerable last Saturday. Many expected the Buckeyes to come out and ream the Hawkeyes, as they were without QB Ricky Stanzi. However, the defense showed some holes, allowing 300 yards and more points than they had allowed in the previous three weeks combined. Offensively, this is still a team that struggles to move the pigskin. In their games against teams likely to go bowling this season, the Buckeyes have scored an average of 27.7 points per game. Though that's a respectable number, the fact that the passing attack still only ranks 104th in the country is disheartening to say the least. Credit their defense and special teams for putting points on the board if not setting the offense up with great field position. QB Terrelle Pryor is coming off of an efficient game against Iowa, as he went 14/17 for 93 yards through the air. However, the day belonged to RBs Brandon Saine and Daniel Herron who rushed the ball 43 times for 200 yards and three scores combined.

Michigan's defense has just been woeful this season. The unit allowed 469 yards of offense to Wisconsin last week. It was the fourth straight game in which the Wolverines allowed at least 35 points and the seventh time they allowed at least 30 points in a game this season. QB Tate Forcier had a fairly decent outing, completing 20 of 26 passes for 188 yards with two touchdowns and a pick. If he can keep the passing attack together, it is already clear that Michigan can run the football. The unit may have had a bad game against Wisconsin, but it is still averaging 195.8 yards per game on the ground, the 22nd best mark in the land.

Since the sweater vest landed in Columbus, the Buckeyes have dominated this rivalry. OSU is a commanding 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS since his arrival. Rich Rod fared poorly in his first taste of this series falling to the Buckeyes 42-7 in the Horseshoe last season. UM’s yet to cover a November game under the Rodriguez regime, and is just 1-6 ATS vs. B10 opponents this season. Points have been put on the board at a rampant pace of late with the over cashing in 5 of the L/6 overall meetings.

CFB Saturday offers up a bevy of games to get in on! Don’t find yourself without anybody to take your action for this HUGE Big 10 clash! Open up an account at Bookmaker Sportsbook immediately and take advantage of their attractive football bonus offers.
