Cameron indoor will be seeking revenge when their Dookies entertain the Yellow Jackets.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (16-5, 11-4 ATS) invade Cameron Indoor Stadium looking to sweep the regular season series with the rival Duke Blue Devils (17-4, 13-7 ATS). HC Paul Hewitt’s kids head into this one in fine form having won two in a row after clobbering Kentucky State in what amounted to be an exhibition their last time out. Duke had its two-game winning streak snapped last weekend at Georgetown in non-conference CBB betting action the last time it hit the hardwood.
JustBet Sportsbook currently has Duke tagged as lofty 12.5-point home favorites for this college basketball betting battle with the game 'total' wet at 144.5.
GTECH comes into this one tied for 3rd place in the ACC just one-game in back of tonight’s opponent. They cruised to a comfy 98-50 home win in a non-lined game against the Kentucky State Thorobreds last weekend. The entire roster saw game action as the Yellow Jackets converted 71.2 percent of their 52 overall shots from the field, while the defense limited KY State to an anemic 17 of 60 showing from the field. This young squad might not have the experience needed to win the rough and tumble ACC, but they’re improving with every passing week and sit firmly in the race. F Gani Lawal is the team’s leading scorer (14.5 PPG) and rebounder (9.0 RPG), and he tallied 21 points and nine boards against Duke at home back on January 9th. This team ranks in the top 65 in PPG scored (#49 at 76.1 PPG) and PPG allowed (#62 at 62.9 PPG), and they’re 5-4 SU & 6-3 ATS as a visitor this season.
The Blue Devils had their two-game winning streak snapped their last time out when they traveled out of conference to take on the Georgetown Hoyas. They were just simply blitzkrieged by the Hoyas who shot an astounding 71.7 percent from the floor to cruise to the resounding 89-77 home win and cover as 2-point underdogs. As good as GTOWN shot the rock, it didn’t help the Dookies cause that they shot a pathetic 37.1 percent themselves. Now they return home to the comfy confines of their own arena where they’re 12-0 SU & 8-3 ATS on the year. They’ve won and covered each of their L/5 in this venue. G’s Jon Scheyer and Nolan Smith pace the Blue Devils with 18.7 and 18.2 PPG respectively, while F Kyle Singler cleans the glass to the tune of 7.0 RPG. Duke ranks in the top 60 both offensively (#11 at 81.9 PPG) and defensively (#59 at 62.8 PPG) this season.
GTECH upended the Dookies 71-67 as 7-point home pups in these teams first meeting. The favorite is 15-5 ATS the L/20 overall in this series, and these teams have played to the Under each of the l/5 times they squared off in Durham, NC.
