While 15 teams are already assured of progress from the UEFA Europa League group stage, 19 others will compete for the remaining nine places in the round of 32 on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to UEFA.com, there are matches in which will decide the lineup for the rounds of 32 and 16 draw on 16 December. That will also include the eight teams transferring from the UEFA Champions League: holders FC Porto, Manchester City FC, Trabzonspor AŞ, Manchester United FC, AFC Ajax, Valencia CF, Olympiacos FC and FC Viktoria Plzeň.

Group D
FC Zürich v FC Vaslui
S.S. Lazio v Sporting Clube de Portugal
• Sporting have won the group and Zürich are out.
• Vaslui are level with Lazio and hold a head-to-head advantage on away goals. Thus Lazio need to pick up more points against Sporting than Vaslui manage in Switzerland and the Romanian team would ensure progress with victory.
Group E
FC Dynamo Kyiv v Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC
Beşiktaş JK v Stoke City FC
• Stoke are through, two points ahead of Beşiktaş, so a draw would give them first place.
• A point would give Beşiktaş second place and a win would leave them top.
• If Beşiktaş lose, Dynamo can make up the three-point gap by beating eliminated Maccabi but would also need to overhaul a goal difference deficit of four. If they finish level on goal difference and goals scored, Dynamo qualify due to their coefficient.
Group F
ŠK Slovan Bratislava v FC Salzburg
Paris Saint-Germain FC v Athletic Club
• Athletic have won the group and Slovan are out.
• Salzburg are ahead of PSG on head-to-head away goals. Thus PSG need to pick up more points against Athletic than Salzburg manage in Slovakia and the Austrian team would ensure progress with victory.
Group J
Maccabi Haifa FC v FC Schalke 04
FC Steaua Bucureşti v AEK Larnaca FC
• Schalke have won the group, the only one where no team are yet eliminated.
• Maccabi are a point ahead of Steaua and AEK so victory against Schalke would take them through. Maccabi will also progress regardless of their result if Steaua and AEK draw.
• If Maccabi do not win, either Steaua or AEK, under new coach Leon Vlemmings, can progress with victory.
Group K
Wisła Kraków v FC Twente
Fulham FC v Odense BK
• Twente have won the group and OB are out.
• Fulham are a point ahead of Wisła are have a superior head-to-head. Thus to finish second, Wisła must win and hope Fulham do not.
Group L
SK Sturm Graz v AEK Athens FC
RSC Anderlecht v FC Lokomotiv Moskva
• Anderlecht and Lokomotiv are through and meet for first place.
• The only team with a perfect record, Anderlecht won 2-0 in Moscow and thus Lokomotiv must prevail by any other two-goal scoreline or by a bigger margin. If Lokomotiv win 2-0, Anderlecht will be top on overall goal difference.
