– Can Kansas State continue their unbeaten mirage?
Texas Tech has gone OVER the total in four straight games while Kansas State has been, at least according to their surface peripherals, the league’s (weak league) best defense. Kansas State heads to Texas with a perfect 5-0 record but are 3-point road underdogs. Their defense, mostly due to a soft schedule, have allowed but 16.6 points per game. The Wildcats held the Tigers to just 326 total yards just two weeks after Missouri put up 532 yards against Oklahoma in Stillwater.
Don’t count on the Wildcats secondary to come up big against the Air Raid offense and don’t expect Kansas State to be undefeated after Saturday.
Take Texas Tech minus the points.

– The late great Longhorns are underdogs — AT HOME!
This is the first time that the Longhorns have been underdogs in Austin in conference play, against anyone other than Oklahoma, in what is seemingly forever. The oddsmakers have finally made the proper adjustments to a Texas team that is average at best in a weak conference. They get an Oklahoma State team that is averaging an NCAA-high 51.4 points per game.
Take Oklahoma State and lay the touchdown

– Big Totals continue to surface in Big 12 matchups
How can you back the OVER in a game with a total that reads 70-plus points? When the Kansas defense is in action. Fully expect the Sooners, who visit Lawrence on Saturday night, to score 28 points in at least one of the four quarters. Oklahoma — 35 points road chalk – with a total currently 73 points and climbing.
Take the Sooners minus the big number and play them to the OVER 73 points
