The Ultimate Fighting Championship will finally be merging with its sister organization World Extreme Championship.

UFC president Dana white has officially confirmed that the merger will take place in January of 2011. Additionally, White has said that four UFC events are slated to air live on Versus in 2011. However, two WEC cards are still scheduled to air on Nov. 11 and Dec 16.

White explained why the choice was made and the timing behind it; he also explains what’s next for Tito Ortiz and Brock Lesnar.

"Can you start posting the odds and who you like in a specific card a couple of days before the event goes live? We need some odds, picks and perspective on the upcoming events.. especially now that the lighter weight classes will be added."
